Terms and Conditions for Contract Manufacturing & Custom Orders for Soap

Any custom made products will require payment first via Bank Deposit, this includes International orders, after receiving a quote.

You agree to our terms of sale once your order has been paid for and that they meet your requirements to which your products will be manufactured to your desired specifications and are non-refundable/non-returnable.

International Shipping: We recommend all our international customers to arrange freight from their end. If you require us to handle shipment we can do this but if there are additional fees for customs or taxes these fees/services/extra charges are the buyers/customers responsibility. Freight quotes can change and any extra charges are the responsibility of the buyer/customer. 

Australian Shipping: We will freight via Road Transport such as Toll, IPEC, Sendle, Interparcel etc.

Time Frame: We will quote you with a time frame to make your soap - usually 2-4 weeks for us to manufacture your order. Please allow additional time as certain items may need to be shipped to our soapery, we allow extra time for delays in shipping due to Covid Restrictions and delays in deliveries to and from our soapery. We will keep you posted along the way.

Overall please give yourself 3-4 weeks lead time before you need your order.

If its an urgent order please let us know. Charges apply for urgent orders.

*Things to note: As all our ingredients are natural eg; Olive oil, coconut oil, cocoa butter, shea butter, essential oils and come from local sources such as the olive oil, prices can and do change and so may your quote from us. We endeavour to keep our prices low and honour quotations but if there is a big price change we will let you know asap. Currently the price of olive oil has increased dramatically due to bushfires late last year (2019).

All hard soaps; Soap bars and logs require a minimum of 2 weeks to cure and harden enough before shipping. We cannot guarantee they will be hard enough to transport, especially if in large volumes. We highly recommend a wait time of up to 4 weeks before shipping. Ultimately, we cannot guarantee what happens during shipping. Curing time is a minimum of 4- 6 weeks before you can use/sell the soap.

If you order soap logs to cut yourself, when you get them please cut them as soon as you can and store in a dry area or you can keep the soap logs in a dry space and cut after 3 months. The soap needs to dry out. The longer the better.

All soaps are humectants which means they draw moisture, so you may see sweat beads on the soap if it is humid, this is natural and will not affect the soap.
*Please keep them dry!

Our soaps are made from all natural ingredients including the colouring and fragrance. The soap will change as it ages, colours may lighten or darken, this is a natural effect.

Liquid soaps; We manufacture to order a minimum of 15 Litres at a time. Fragranced with essential oils, unfragranced, or if you have a preference of fragrance oil we can arrange this for you as well - This is an additional extra we don't normally stock/provide but can do for you.

You have options to use:

• EO - 100% Pure essential oil
• FO - Manufactured fragrant oil - we don't carry stock
• Mica - Mineral pigment powder - we don't carry stock

• EO's are natural concentrated oils from organic products.
• FO's are high-quality concentrated fragrances manufactured in Australia. Some fragrance oils have vanillin which will discolour the soap to a brown but will not affect the quality of the soap.
• Micas are categorised as an approved natural colourant that has been mined and then individual mica platelets are coated with approved pigments to achieve the colourant. The multi-sided colour is what gives micas its unmistakable shimmer and sheen.

Minimum Order: 15L One fragrance or No Fragrance Option.
Ingredients: Distilled Water, Olive Oil, Coconut Oil, Castor Oil, Sodium + fragrance oil or essential oil.

Gentle on skin as a body wash or for those needing to wash hands regularly. 

Handmade in Australia with 100% Australian Olive oil and Eucalyptus oil. 
Product colour may change with different batches due to colour of olive oil. This does not affect the quality of the product.

Once your order has been received we will confirm your order with you and begin the soap making process. We require 10-14 days lead time to make sure we have all the ingredients in stock to make your soap. We can normally have everything completed with in a few days to a week depending on how busy we get. We will keep you informed.

All sales for custom made soap are final. You are responsible for appropriate labelling of ingredients and product information for your end product.
