Shea butter is derived from the shea nut and is off-white/yellow in colour and has a mild nutty aroma.

Shea butter is creamy and rich and contains nourishing A, E and F vitamins. With anti-inflammatory and skin soothing properties it is commonly used in nourishing skin care recipes. Shea is richly moisturising and is traditionally used to assist in the treatment of eczema, very dry skin and other skin complaints including the signs of aging and sun damage.
